Jessica joined The Marketing Pod, a full-service B2B agency, in her first dedicated PR role in January 2023. In less than two years as PR Manager, she has proven to be a true force to be reckoned with. Jessica has led on many impactful campaigns, securing a number of industry awards along the way. She played a critical role in an event between Xoserve, the central data services provider for Britain’s gas market, and the Fuel Bank Foundation, which won silver for ‘Best Use of Live Events’ at the 2024 B2B Marketing Awards. The event’s thought-provoking agenda focused on what it’s like to walk in the shoes of those living in fuel poverty, while planning for a net zero future. It was attended by government representatives, energy industry leaders, academia, advice services and net-zero think tanks. Xoserve has since been approached by Ofgem and both the Welsh and Scottish governments about repeating it. Jessica is a big advocate for championing her own professional learning and development, with one recent achievement being the completion of the CIPR Professional Certificate. She has earned the trust and respect of clients and peers, with her strategic approach, creative thinking and focus on results. “Jess has been instrumental in developing Xoserve’s ‘voice’ throughout the Energy industry,” said Victoria Mustard from NESO, while Amy Wilson from Wattstor commented, “Jess is the secret sauce behind our best PR campaigns.” As an industry newcomer, it seems clear Jessica is set to only shine brighter in the years to come.
