Liv is an exceptional communications professional whose impact spans global humanitarian causes, political advocacy, and high-profile campaigns. Her career highlights include coordinating an international legal response for kidnapped journalists in Kashmir, driving media coverage that contributed to a historic ICC trial, and leading advocacy tours to the UN and World Bank on behalf of Somalia’s largest company, helping secure millions in drought relief funding. Liv has also championed healthcare workers’ rights, leading a pandemic-era survey of 5,000 nurses that was launched in Geneva and covered globally. Her creativity and results-driven approach shine through in her work, such as managing AGRA’s Food Systems Forum in Kigali, Rwanda. Tasked with delivering media impact for a 5,000+ delegate conference, Liv secured over 200 international media pieces, coordinated podcasts, and organized a live CNN Africa broadcast. She also supports grassroots causes, having spearheaded the media strategy for Choose Love’s legal case against the UK’s Rwanda deportation scheme, contributing to its eventual overturn. Notably, Liv secured a front-page International New York Times feature spotlighting cancer support in Ukraine during the war. Liv’s influence extends beyond her day-to-day role. As Co-Director of the Labour Campaign for Human Rights, she actively advocates for equitable policies, recently speaking at the Labour Party Conference. Her ability to manage complex issues with authority and sensitivity, combined with a genuine passion for creating change, marks her as an extraordinary leader in communications. Liv exemplifies the power of storytelling to not only raise awareness but to shift the needle on critical global issues.
