In 2024 we consolidated our thinking around the value exchange between what we do for our team, and what we expect from them in return. The Deal is founded on principles of reciprocity, accountability and continuous improvement, “not just in terms of the skills that lead to progression, but to lean into the knotty issues that affect and impact us all”. Our team is truly diverse and we look deeply at issues of intersectionality, understanding that not everyone has had the same opportunities, and that people might have different struggles due to personal circumstances, background or life-stage. The beating heart of our generous benefits programme is fortnightly executive coaching for all, so everyone can “bring their best selves to work, knowing they are supported and seen”. AcadeME, our training programme allows team members to personalise training so they can “find their passion and turn it into positive impact”. We take mental health seriously, with a robust identification, support and monitoring process which includes fully funded talking therapies. And we hold ourselves accountable, producing an Impact Report which we publish annually. As a B Corps – with a score of 120 (pass mark is 80) – we place equal emphasis on People, Planet and Profit, and our people-centric approach runs through everything that we do.
