Claire Hankey

Claire is the Director of Communications and Partnerships at NHS Mid and South Essex. With a background in journalism, Claire joined the NHS in 2002 and has since worked in leadership roles across NHS provider and commissioning organisations, with responsibility for public engagement, internal and external communications. 

She is passionate about ensuring communications are clear and accessible to everyone, with a focus on equity of access and care.
