Sophie Woollands
Director, Woodrow Communications
As Director and Campaigning & Influence Lead, Sophie helps clients earn trust when the stakes are high. Her corporate campaigns span headlines, policy and the everyday conversations that shape how people thinks. She brings commercial judgement, sharp storytelling, and the discipline to deliver when scrutiny is at its fiercest.
Her work spans tech, healthcare, law, and property, but the thread is consistent: she makes complex issues feel real and urgent. At Woodrow, she leads communications for Medtronic Surgical in the UK and US, and hs led campaigning for Wildfarmed, one of the strongest voices in regenerative agriculture. Before joining Woodrow, she managed corporate comms for Vodafone UK, Kingfisher plc, and Salesforce EMEA at Teneo.
She is also the person you want in the room when you need momentum and eneergy. She launched Vodafone’s Digital Society work to push digital inclusion and accelerate 5G rollout, shaping a narrative that connected infrastructure to lived experience. Sophie combines clarity with pace, and rigour with creativity. People follow her lead because she raises standards without draining energy, and because her work lands.
As Woodrow's youngest Director, Sophie is an example of what modern leadership in communications looks like. In an industry where senior leadership is still often dominated by men, Sophie is a real inspiration to our younger team members. She shows colleagues, especially women building their careers in PR, that senior leadership is achievable and within reach. Most importantly, she coaches and mentors them on how to get there.
