Training & Development is core to Blurred’s ethos.

We strive for betterment in all we do: the work we deliver for clients, our business, the industry and in ourselves. This is enshrined in the The Deal, which lays out what employees get from us, and what we expect from them. Our approach ensures that training is baked into the day-to-day, but also allows for tailoring to individual needs/passions in line with our EVP of “FIND YOUR PASSION AND TURN IT INTO POSITIVE IMPACT”. This ensures everyone can lean into interest areas as well as supporting personal growth. Everyone, regardless of level, receives fortnightly coaching to help navigate challenges, encourage self-reflection and to ensure everyone can “bring their best selves to work, knowing they are supported and seen”. And this last point is vital, as we know background, life stage and personal circumstance can all impact development/opportunity. In 2024 we logged 1000+ hours of formal training, which alongside coaching averages 54 hours pp. This learning-driven culture which combines formal/structured training and creates opportunities for growth day-to-day comes through consistently as something Blurred does well in our twice-yearly anonymous staff survey; L&D provision received a 99% positive response to statements such as ‘Blurred is helping me gain the skills I need to futureproof my career’. “We’ve one of the best set-ups to develop and hone skillsets.
