Eyimofe is a rising star in the UK PR industry whose journey is defined by resilience and ambition. After earning a Mass Communication degree from Babcock University in Nigeria, he spent two years in advertising before pivoting to public relations. In 2021, Eyimofe embarked on a new chapter, pursuing an MA in PR at Cardiff University. Despite challenges as a foreign graduate seeking UK sponsorship, Eyimofe secured a Junior Account Executive role at CCGroup, where his exceptional performance led to visa sponsorship and rapid promotion to Senior Account Executive within two years. Eyimofe won CCGroup’s peer-voted Famous Five Awards for Curiosity during his first two quarters. He later earned awards like the CCGroup Cap of Technical Enlightenment and a Famous Five for Ambition. He’s built relationships with journalists from premier publications, securing high-value client coverage and spearheaded a networking event at CCGroup, connecting over 20 journalists, analysts, and colleagues. But it’s via his Whataboutisms initiative that Eyimofe really stands out. Whataboutisms is a unique initiative aimed at fostering the growth and platforming of junior communicators. Launched in the middle of 2024, it has so far platformed nine emerging voices across three events, with industry-wide support from top agencies like Golin and Hope&Glory. Eyimofe exemplifies what it means to be a role model industry newcomer, excelling professionally and creating impact beyond his role at CCGroup.
