MSL UK
In 2025, this commitment was brought to life through a concentrated focus on becoming the first actively anti-racist agency in the industry, a decision shaped by the reality that 68% of Black and mixed-Black PR professionals have considered leaving the industry due to racism.
MSL invested over £40k to embed anti-racism into the fabric of the agency. Through focus groups, training programmes, working groups and book clubs, the agency has created the conditions for open dialogue, accountability and continuous learning. This work is not time-bound; it is ongoing and fundamental to how the business operates.
Recognising that race does not exist in isolation, MSL’s approach is rooted in intersectionality. Alongside its anti-racism strategy, the agency supports colleagues across a range of lived experiences, with wellbeing positioned as a core priority. This includes access to bespoke counselling services, wellbeing days, enhanced leave policies and a dedicated team of mental health first aiders. From age inclusivity to neurodiversity, MSL continues to break down barriers and build a workplace where inclusion is not aspirational, but embedded.
