Rhiannon Berriman

FUJIFILM UK

Head of Corporate Communications

Rhiannon Berriman has made significant strides, initially as corporate communications executive and now head of corporate communications at Fujifilm UK. Since joining the company in 2019, she has extended the influence of its corporate comms team in the UK and Ireland, positioning her as a strategic advisor influencing key business decisions across various divisions and product areas.

Meanwhile, Berriman’s recent elevation to the senior leadership team – the youngest member of management – underscores her role in shaping Fujifilm’s overall strategy and commercial success, while also enhancing its reputation. And her expertise extends to supporting comms and reputation management for sister companies in the UK.

Berriman’s commitment to social issues is evident through her active role in driving the company’s DEI strategy by leading the establishment and management of Fujifilm Action, its colleague-driven diversity and inclusion network, as well as implementing company policies and internal awareness campaigns on mental health and the menopause. What’s more, after conducting the company’s first annual UK&I employee engagement survey, this was recognised by Fujifilm’s global HQ for its contribution to commercial success and there is now an annual survey for all 72,000 employees globally.

The judges highlighted Berriman’s exceptional communication skills and her ability to integrate meaningful campaigns with corporate objectives. Her work, particularly Fujifilm’s participation in the NHS 75th anniversary campaign, was praised for its impact and innovation, effectively connecting the brand with national pride.

Judges comment: “Rhiannon is a comms all-rounder (PR, internal and PA), and her commitment to DE&I is great to see.”
