We’re Tangerine, an independent, female-led powerhouse PR and social agency. Based in Manchester, our northern roots fuel the entrepreneurial spirit shared across our 100+ team.

We’re employee-owned, so every one of us has a say in how our agency operates. We all share in its success, both reputationally and financially via profit share. We describe ourselves as agile and honest, focused on doing the right thing for ourselves, our clients and our community.

A quarter of our team has been with us more than 5 years, with some now reaching 20+ years. We’re proud of our 80%+ retention.

23 years since our inception, we still believe in making a difference for everyone. Over 10 years ago we launched the Juice Academy, the UK’s first social media apprenticeship programme. It has created more than 700 jobs for young professionals, and our team continues to teach the next generation of creative minds.

In 2025/26 we’re taking this focus on young talent further, building on our Bright Futures Fund and expanding our Fair Play DEI scheme. We’re launching our new schools project with PIE (Pursuing Individual Excellence) to support more equitable pathways into our industry and promote different routes into creative comms.
