2025 was a year of accelerated employee empowerment at W Communications, building on our transition to an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT) in 2024. Our people don’t just work at W – they own the business, shape its strategy, and share directly in its success.

That ownership has unlocked a faster, bolder entrepreneurial culture. Our people are trusted to think, build and lead, backed by real opportunity and, in 2025, the freedom to launch and run three specialist agencies from within the business: Spike, Chomp and HelloFranses.

Employee ownership has also raised the bar for reward. In 2025, we introduced a market-leading bonus structure strengthened by the EOT and distributed 10% of company profit to employees.

We matched this momentum with continued investment in growth and benefits. The launch of the W Academy reflects our commitment to excellence and to developing talent at every level, while our expanded “health and wealth” package supports employees through benefits including private healthcare and tax savings. We also supercharged our W Stayover programme, encouraging employees to extend holidays by working from another W office and gaining valuable international experience, alongside enhanced parental leave and pay, phased returnship and flexible hours.

With 65% of our workforce female, 30% from diverse backgrounds, and 75% of our operational board female, inclusion is embedded in our culture.
